ATHEIST

Let us briefly consider the absurdity of being an atheist.
The Bible takes the position that God exists. “In the beginning God . . . ” (Genesis 1:1). “God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken unto us by His Son . . . ” (Hebrews 1:1-2). “For every house is built by some man; but he that built all things is God.” (Hebrews 3:4). “Let all the earth fear the Lord; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast.” (Psalm 33:8-9)
Consider the atheist’s position. Remember, the atheist says, “I know God does not exist.” To establish this position the atheist would have to know everything, for the thing he did not know might prove God’s existence. The atheist must also know (1) that non-living matter is eternal, (2) that all things exist purely as a result of sheer change; and (3) that life came from dead matter without any outside force.
It would be interesting to hear an atheist answer the question, “Which was on earth first, a woman or a human baby?” If he says, “a woman”, then he would be saying the first woman was never a baby. If he says, “a baby”, he is saying that a non-human gave birth to a human. Both of these positions (in the absence of a Divine creator) are absurd. The Bible teaches that God created all things and kind reproduces after kind (Genesis 1-2:25; John 1:1-5; Matthew 19:4).
God requires man to have faith (Hebrews 11:6). However, God supplies adequate evidence to prove He does exist (Psalm 19:1-7; Romans 1:19-32; Acts 14:16-17; Psalm 139:14) and that the Bible is His inspired word. The very characteristics of the Bible, such as the fulfillment of prophecy, its unaccountable unity, and its scientific fore-knowledge verify the supernatural nature of its contents.
Have you become a Christian the way the Bible teaches? (Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38, 8:26-39, 22:16; Romans 6:1-4; Galatians 3:26-27; I Peter 3:21).
